Every year BOLD campers are introduced to a sport that falls outside what some may consider to be mainstream in the United States. This allows the young men to get active and expand their horizons beyond the usual sports that they are accustomed to. Consequently, BOLD 2014's focus is on Flag Rugby.
To help prepare the campers for the week and provide them with some background knowledge and basic rugby skills, the Green Bay Rugby Club graciously volunteered their time toward this cause. Several experienced players helped guide warm-up exercises, practice drills, and scrimmage opportunities. After this very educational session that was full of strategy advice, skill tutorials, and teachable moments, the campers walked away with a new appreciation for a very historically influential sport.
