D1
D1 athletic trainers paid a visit to BOLD Camp to emphasize the importance of staying physically active, to promote positive character development, and to provide the young men with some exercise and training opportunities. After some warm-up drills, the action really picked up when the giant battle ropes made their appearance. Campers used these to dynamically engage their arms and upper body with a rotating wave routine. Then, after the burn had settled, they were treated to a few rounds of four way tug-of-war.

Orienteering
With only a compass, a map, and a passport in hand, BOLD campers navigated their way across St. Norbert College in an effort to complete a challenging scavenger hunt. Mr. Matt, the designer of the course, kicked off the event with an orienteering tutorial. Then the young men enthusiastically sought their ten checkpoints using a combination of teamwork, communication, and hustle.

Door County Adventure Center
Many of BOLD week's central themes such as LEADERSHIP, TEAMWORK, and PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY were highlighted and strengthened with a visit from Door County Adventure Center.
This group entertained and challenged the young men with engaging outdoor adventure activities that had them laughing, thinking, struggling, and overcoming. Additionally, each exercise was followed with a debriefing session where campers openly discussed the obstacles they encountered and the lessons that they learned.

House of Speed
For the second consecutive summer, BOLD campers were treated to the personalized athletic training offered by Green Bay's very own House of Speed. This program is designed to improve its participants' physical strength and agility, mental performance, and overall sportsmanship. With a series of unique and diverse training drills, Mr. Nick challenged and brought out the best of BOLD Camp's young men.
"Bring Sally Up" Push up Challenge
The day after BOLD campers were introduced to the proper form and different modifications that accompany a correct push up (a common skill that young men are encouraged to practice and incorporate into their exercise routines), they were challenged to "Bring Sally Up." The rhythm and lyrics to this song direct participants when to push up and when to bring themselves back down, and at approximately four minutes in length all campers and instructors were pushed to their physical limits.
